My toolbox – helpful resources

Happy Friday!  Here are some of my favorite resources:

Dear 16 Year Old Me a video from the David Cornfield Foundation aiming to promote awareness of melanoma and the importance of prevention and early self-detection.

The MPIP Forum the Melanoma Research Foundation’s online forum, Melanoma Patients Information Page (MPIP), is the largest and most active community of people affected by melanoma.

Healing Program a collaboration between Dr Rob Rutledge, an Oncologist, and Dr Timothy Walker, a Psychotherapist.  Mindfulness-based stress reduction, meditation, relaxation and many other ways to promote a deeper sense of healing and tap into the spiritual realm.

I have also found this article from Huffington post about how your own boundaries and relationships change with a cancer diagnosis to be a good read.  This piece is a quick and detailed read about melanoma specifically.  Lots of exciting developments on the melanoma news front this week, and I suspect many more when data comes out from ASCO.
